Demi-soloist
Born in Ukraine, Mr Lisovyk is a graduate of the Kiev Ballet Conservatory (1993–2002). In 2002 he joined the ballet company in Košice, East Slovakia, and his six-year contract brought him a number of challenging roles in ballets like the Nutcracker (Spanish Dance, Mouse King), Swan Lake (von Rothbart, Spanish Dance), Don Quixote, Odysseus, Svatba podle Figara (Figaro is Getting Married), Carmina Burana, Le Sacre du Printemps, Little Prince, Requiem. Mr Lisovyk joined the Prague State Opera in 2008, making remarkable appearances as the loving Raoul in Libor Vaculík’s horror lovestory the Phantom of the Opera, demonic von Rothbart in the Swan Lake, and one of the four Cavaliers in Cinderella.
