Lubomír Havlák

After graduating from Prague’s Academy of Performing Arts, Lubomír Havlák first performed in operettas in the Karlín Music Theater in Prague. After a short episode in Ústí nad Labem, in 1992 he became a regular soloist with the Prague State Opera where he has sung for example Ismael in Verdi’s Nabucco, Laca in Janáček’s Jenůfa, Tichon in Janáček’s Katya Kabanova, Jaquin in Beethoven’s Leonora, Shuisky in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Pong in Puccini’s Turandot, Goro in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, Gobrias in Boito’s Nerone, Big Julek in Burian’s Bubu of Montparnasse, and Frank in Weis’s The Polish Jew.
