Kamila Madejová

Demi-soloist

From 1995 she studied at Prague Dance Center Conservatory and graduated in 2004. During her studies she acted with the Ballet Praha Junior group, among others in Alvin Ailey’s choreography The River and Petr Zuska’s choreographies V mlhách (In the Mists) and Sonáta. Between 1995–2003 she participated on the International Dance Week and Summer Dance School in Prague, Italia Conti Academy summer school in London, Arlette von Boven’s and Roslyn Anderson’s workshops in Prague, International Summer School in Antwerp and Visegrad regional dance workshop in Prague. She started to cooperate with State Opera Prague group in 2004, and in the season 2005/2006 she has become its ballerina. Among her most interesting roles belongs Pendulum in Cinderella, and solos in Jarní 2004 (Spring 2004) and Time of Pain productions. Currently she studies economy at ESMA University in Prague. In her free time she plays tennis that she used to play competitively before. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and she reads world authors.
