The libretto of Pavel Smok’s ballet with the tentative name The tale of the enchanted prince and smart Annie was made to order for our ensemble. It will have two versions: one for touring only with members of the Prague Chamber Ballet and an extended one for performance in the State Opera, where both ensembles will perform, i.e. also the Prague State Opera ballet. The production will be a combination of classical fairy-tale motifs with certain contrivances of the contemporary technical world, which are a matter-of course for today’s children.
