Schwanensee - ALO diamonds Étoiles
The Prague International Ballet presents the ALO diamonds Étoiles – Swan Lake, which will take place at the Prague State Opera from June 29 to July 2, 2010. This event brings together famous artists from some of the most prestigious ballet companies and theatres. Just see for yourself: Paris Opera Ballet, Mariinsky Ballet, Nacional Ballet of Cuba, Dutch National Ballet and many others.
ALO diamonds Étoiles, under this title will be presented unique works. In this, Czech’s first ever event of its kind, has assembled under one roof a select group of outstanding principal dancers from world’s greatest ballet companies and theatres. The audience will enter the world of ballet through the famous work of Peter I. Tchaikovsky Swan Lake, the masterpiece of classical ballet. Work of French choreographer Marius Petipa and Russian choreographer Lev Ivanov both being the tradition and pillars in the history of ballet.
A ballet performance is one of the dramatic-visual arts, which plays a significant role in the world of theatre. The audience will benefit from the experience of the performers, presenting different ballet genre in the most comprehensible language.

Yolanda Correa will perform as Odette-Odile together with Yoel, who will dance as Prince Siegfried. They are performing all around the world and they was performing in Prague Ballet Gala 2010 with ALO diamonds on January 2010.

In 2006, Alina made her debut at the Wiener Staatsoper as Odette-Odile in Swan Lake. She performs lead roles in numerous ballets and performing at the greatest ballet theatres in Europe, USA, Canada, Japan and China. Leonid was awarded the International Benois de la Danse Prize, as well as Ballet magazine’s “Spirit of Dance 2006„ prize in the category “Star„. He received Gold Medal in the International Ballet Competition in Moscow and in Paris. In 2006 he made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

Prague International Ballet is a non-profit organization which was established in 2005. The mission of the company is to support professional ballet education, protect the “intangible„ ballet heritage, and introduce the creations of famous choreographers from all over the world to audiences in the Czech Republic. The very successful Prague Ballet Gala in 2006 and overwhelming public response helped Prague International Ballet confirm its mission and to develop further, emerging projects.
